Eligible learners can receive an extra free study allowance. You can still start on the regular Free plan if the campaign is unavailable.

Available from 1 September 2026. Activate with your first successful guide by 15 November 2026. Failed generations and shared-guide claims do not use a credit.
10-guide Exam Ready Boost
Ten more creations become available from 1 December, with campaign creation access continuing through 31 January 2027.

A creation counts only when a new guide is successfully created and saved. Saved guides include active and paused guides, whether created or shared. Pausing does not free saved space or restore creation credits. Existing guides are kept if your allowance changes.

Secure checkout, calm billing
Paid plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled. Yearly shows the annual charge and its monthly equivalent. Stripe checkout confirms the total, billing interval, and any applicable tax before you pay. Plan & billing shows your next renewal or end date, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

FAQs
Do I need to pay to use Synlecto or install Study Companion?
No. You can install Study Companion and use the Free plan without a payment card. Create a free account when you are ready to use your own lecture sources. The Student Plan is optional.
Is Free a trial that turns into a paid subscription?
No. Free has no subscription charge and does not automatically become a paid plan. Keep using it within its allowance, and choose an upgrade only when you need more room. Any extra Start Strong campaign allowance has its own dates and eligibility.
How do new lecture guide limits work?
Free includes five new guide creations every 30 days. The Student Plan includes 25 in each monthly service window. Free includes 12 saved guides and Student includes 60. Both active and paused guides count, including guides shared with you. Pausing or deleting does not restore creation credits.
What am I paying for on the Student Plan?
Upgrade when you need more room for regular lectures: 25 creations each monthly service window, 60 active guides, cross-device sync and advanced insights. You can build your study routine on Free first.
Do shared guides use a creation credit?
No. Claiming a guide that has already been created does not use another creation credit. It does use one active-guide slot, and your notes, progress and recall history remain private to you.
Does Yearly change my guide limits?
No. Annual billing changes when you pay, not how often your study allowance refreshes. The Student Plan still receives 25 creations in each monthly service window.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Paid plans renew at the interval you choose until cancelled. You can manage or cancel from Plan & billing, where the renewal or end date is shown. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
